This precious moment was captured by my love on an adventure in Assiniboine park when our little babe was less then six months old. I have always wanted to paint this piece since this photo was taken and the moment arose recently. Her eyes in this stage still hadn’t changed and were that beautiful deep dark grey colour. The little hat worn was also worn by her brother my hat was one I purchased when in was in the midst of dating there Papa and would wear all the time over ten years ago now… So many special memories arise while creating. Sometimes so beautiful and cherished and sometimes ones that pull on our heart strings.
