Prana (प्राण, prāṇa; the Sanskrit word for “life force” or “vital principle”) is all cosmic energy, permeating the Universe on all levels. Prana is often referred to as the “life force” or “life energy”. It also includes energies present in inanimate objects. Prana is sometimes described as originating from the Sun and connecting the elements of the Universe. When I’m painting I so frequently look at the piece after creating and think where did that come from how did that even appear out of the paint. Just as a mother is a child’s life force art can also be someone’s life force fuelling them and providing them with immense energy from the universe.
