Years ago I painted this piece. I just came back to it and worked a little on the fabric. This piece has always had a soft spot in my heart. It is a women that is etched in my mind from my time in Morocco. The goat herding women was much older then the women I have painted here. Her bright green eyes smiling at me, it always made me wonder who she was in her youth. I placed this piece in an art show… and was told to never paint people ever again based upon this piece and one other I enrolled in the show. Constructive criticism??
