This painting I was asked by my god mother to paint. We had talked about it quite sometime ago. And then my Uncle brought it up and asking me to do so for her 50th birthday party. She’s a breast cancer survivor hence the one breast in the painting. I was a difficult piece but so very cathartic since we have had to deal with breast cancer in my family more times then I like to count. I feel it really shows the freedom that comes along with life after trauma the freedom of being. Just being… Doing as you please and never taking anything for granted. Wonderful lessons I have learnt from these amazing women in my life.
